From Jordan’s Perspective:

Moving to Port Hedland, WA, was a big change for our family. With my husband's job transfer looming and me returning to work, we knew we needed to find a childcare solution that would accommodate our new lifestyle. That's when I stumbled upon the idea of hiring an Au Pair. Little did I know, the journey ahead would be filled with challenges and uncertainties.

Searching for an Au Pair proved to be overwhelming. It wasn't just about finding someone to care for our children; it was about finding someone who would seamlessly fit into our family dynamics. As a mother, ensuring the safety and happiness of my children was paramount, and I was determined to find the perfect match.

From Shareen’s Perspective:

As a backpacker fresh off my adventures in South-East Asia and with dwindling savings, I faced the task of finding employment in Australia. I was aware that saving money would require seeking work outside major cities and so I diligently searched for opportunities. When I stumbled upon Jordan's job advertisement, it felt like fate calling. Despite the risk of traveling to Port Hedland, WA to meet a stranger, I couldn't ignore the opportunity. The prospect of embarking on this new journey was both exhilarating and daunting, but I knew deep down it was an opportunity I couldn't let slip by.

Looking back, I realize that having support and reassurance would have made the process far less unnerving. However, I'm grateful for the

experience, as it ultimately led me to Kin & Co Au Pairs and a family that welcomed me with open arms.

Please be informed that our fees encompass a non-refundable administration charge of $350. This payment is necessary at the beginning of the process to cover initial placement work and constitutes a part of the final placement fee.

1. Initial Consultation: The host family expresses interest in Kin & Co Au Pairs, initiating an initial consultation. During this session, we delve into the family's requirements, preferences, and expectations.

2. Registration: Upon deciding to proceed, the Host Family completes the registration process with Kin & Co Au Pairs. This involves providing essential details regarding their family dynamics, childcare needs, and desired start date for the Au Pair. A non-refundable payment of $350 is required at this stage.

3. Matching Process: Kin & Co Au Pairs initiates the matching process, carefully assessing available Au Pair profiles. Factors such as language proficiency, childcare experience, and cultural compatibility are considered. Potential matches are then presented to the Host Family for their review.

4. Interviews: The Host Family conducts interviews with selected Au Pair candidates to gauge their suitability and alignment with the family's requirements and values.

5. Selection: Following the interviews, the Host Family chooses the Au Pair they deem to be the most suitable fit for their family.

6. Contract and Documentation: Kin & Co Au Pairs assists the Host Family and Au Pair in finalizing contractual agreements and ensuring that all necessary documentation, including visas and background checks, is complete and in order.

7. Pre-Arrival Preparation: The Host Family and Au Pair collaborate to finalize travel arrangements and discuss expectations.

8. Arrival and Orientation: Upon arrival, the Au Pair undergoes orientation, acquainting themselves with the Host Family's home, childcare responsibilities, and local customs.

9. Integration: The Au Pair settles into their new environment, commences their childcare duties, and establishes routines.

10. Ongoing Support: Kin & Co Au Pairs remains committed to providing continuous support to both the Host Family and Au Pair, addressing any challenges that may arise and ensuring a positive experience for all involved parties.

At Kin & Co Au Pairs, we're dedicated to achieving the perfect synergy between Host Families and Au Pairs. With personalized service and meticulous attention to detail, we ensure an unmatched experience for both parties involved.

When you choose to partner with us, you can expect a thorough evaluation of both the Host Family and Au Pair, ensuring compatibility and seamless integration into your home. Leveraging our extensive database, we carefully match you with the ideal candidate. Additionally, our customized contracts and ongoing support ensure a smooth journey throughout your arrangement.

While our standard processing time typically takes 10-weeks, we understand the occasional need for expedited service. Therefore, we offer a fast-track option for an additional fee, although certain circumstances may require adherence to our standard timeline.

Please note that our fees include a non-refundable administration charge of $350, covering initial placement work.

In the event of a successful match followed by Au Pair cancellation before arrival, you'll receive a credit valid for 12-months. Placement fees are valid for up to 12-months from the initial payment date, with refunds processed upon request within a 4-week timeframe.

At Kin & Co Au Pairs, the satisfaction of both Host Families and Au Pairs is our top priority. As part of our commitment to compliance and safety, individuals working with children must obtain a Working with Children Check.
